A taxi driver with valid taxi driving licence can apply
for the taxi driver identity plate (TDIP) at any of the agent
authorized by Transport Department. To check the list and service

It is required by law for a taxi driver to display
TDIP in the passenger compartment when providing the service. The
offender is liable on conviction to a penalty of HK$2000.
