training programme is produced by Transport
Department for the purpose of assisting taxi
drivers to improve their language proficiency
to communicate with passengers in simple workplace
English or Putonghua, and to provide quality
taxi services to passengers.
This
training programme covers general interactions
with passengers, useful phrases, numbers,
time, names of places, consulates, public
facilities, transport interchanges and festivals
in Hong Kong.
